Malaria with Immune-Mediated Hemolytic Anemia: A Case Report

Abstract This case report describes the clinical presentation, diagnosis, and management of a 34-year-old male patient with malaria caused by Plasmodium falciparum, complicated immune hemolytic anemia. The initially presented one-day history fever feeling unwell, but diagnosis was missed. Four days later, during second follow-up visit, administered Artemisinin Piperaquine tablets. Despite this treatment, persistent symptoms anemia necessitated multiple treatment modifications. Subsequent evaluation confirmed presence associated malaria. then treated intravenous methylprednisolone received blood transfusion. underscores challenges in diagnosing managing severe its immune-related complications.
